Creating habits for happiness

These are certainly difficult times we are facing, lots of emotions come to play, daily routines disappear, and it can become a lonely time. As Virginia Satir would say:


“ Life is not the way it’s supposed to be, it’s the way it is. The way you cope is what makes the difference”. 


I have been on a roller coaster of difficult times in my life and l truly believe in the following:


Creating Good Habits

It is very easy to feel lost when things change in your life. The most important part of building good habits is staying consistent. It doesn’t matter how well you perform on any individual day. Sustained effort is what makes the real difference.
Staying positive is only a small part in getting through the difficult times, but it’s an important part. When you stay positive, you’re putting yourself in the best position possible. Not only make it through those bad times, but become a better person in the process.
 Exercise as we know is not only beneficial in keeping you healthy and fit but it is the key component in reducing stress, anxiety and depression. Once you start moving and keeping to a routine you start feeling very pleased with yourself, and as a result your mood changes. Therefor you feel happier and healthier.


Mind Body and Spirit

Gratitude, showing appreciation for all the good in your life instead of focusing on the negative. 
Build up your Community – having the right people around you is one of the most important things you can do for yourself when the times get tough. You want to surround yourself with people who are caring, honest and available.
And most importantly find what makes your soul sing and follow it. Music and dance is what lifts my spirit, it’s my happy place

 The Dance Dynamics ‘Power Challenge’ is a fantastic opportunity on kickstarting your way in achieving your goal in feeling stronger, healthier and happier.
