Outdoor Sessions

Starting Nov 1st with up to 10 participants and the instructor. Our park sessions are a little different from what you will experience in the studios. We are keeping them more fitness focused. We can’t wait to see you face to face. 4 Park location all very close to our existing studios.

Boxhill Gardens – (close to Box Hill Studio)

Cheong Park Croydon – (close to Ringwood Studio)

Malvern Gardens – (close to Malvern Studio)

Dendy Park Brighton East – (close to Hampton Studio)

 

 

Are you ready for the next adventure?

DO I NEED TO BOOK? 

Yes you do, absolutely no walk-ups. Classes are capped at 10 plus the instructor at this time. Bookings open 7 days in advance. Choose the studio location that is closest to the park. If you waitlist you must have confirmation that you are in before attend. (You receive sms confirming provided you have activated this service in the past by sms START to 0428 255 408). These classes are charged the same as in studio classes and are allocated to your membership. 

 

WHAT ABOUT SOCIAL DISTANCING?

Yes we are working hard to ensure you maintain social distancing and  maintaining a distance of 2 metres where possible in the session.

HOW MANY CLASSES CAN I BOOK?

At this time we request that members attend 1-2 x 30 minute sessions (Total 1hr) in any given period day or evening or both. This allows us to ensure adequate access to all members given the class caps. 

 

WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?

If it likely to rain or the forecast is over 35 degrees we will may cancel  class, if you are booked we will notify you. We will give you as much notice as we can if that occurs. If a class does not run then the session is not charged. 

WHAT ABOUT MASKS?

Please wear a mask to and from class and during less cardiovascular sessions (Stretch etc) however in alignment with state government policy masks may be removed when you are doing any exercise or physical activity where you are out of breath or puffing.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING?

 Please ensure you are using sunscreen, wear a cap or hat and BYO filled water bottle and yoga mat. Mats will be used in both Strength N Tone and Stretch sessions.

THE 25KM RULE?

Anyone that is within 25km of the Park can book and attend the session

ARE WE DOING THIS ON GRASS?

Yes the classes are running on natural surfaces, this means there could be uneven ground, etc. We ask that you take it very easy and be super careful. The sessions have been adjusted to minimise sudden change in direction etc but we ask for extra care and understanding from everyone. Bring your yoga mat for Strength N Tone and Stretch.

 

WHO IS TEACHING THE SESSIONS?

Instructors will be listed with the class in Mindbody.  

 WHAT IS THE COST?

These classes are charged the same as in studio classes and are allocated to your membership. So if you usually have access to 3,5 or unlimited sessions in studio the same applies to these. Also available to pass holders. Booked sessions that no-show are charged. If you are a Newbie and would like to try a session please contact us – we have a dedicated weekly class that we offer as a free trial.

 

WHY  DANCEFIT & FITNESS?

We believe that these sessions are the best fit for the outdoor space, keeping you moving and happy. Our pure Dance sessions are available on both our Interactive and The Virtual studio.

ARE THE INTERACTIVE SESSIONS STILL RUNNING?

If you check out the latest timetable, we have included our Interactive Sessions on the timetable. The team will be beaming direct into your lounge room from the studio. Book under HAMPTON under Interactive.

 

WHAT ABOUT THE VIRTUAL ON DEMAND CLASSES?

We are keeping the Virtual Studio with over 300 On Demand classes running. This gives you the chance to select a 30 minute session in any style with any instructor whenever you like. We are still loading new content weekly!

 

WHEN ARE THE STUDIOS RE-OPENING?

Based on the current information we anticipate that we will see a return to studio classes in some form mid-late November. You know we will keep you informed as soon as we have clear information to plan with.
