It is ideal for members who are dealing with injuries, are more mature, building basic fitness levels or perhaps want to simply enjoy the feeling of moving without complex steps. ‘Gentle Movers’ will give you all the joy of moving to music without high impact or full cardio. It may be a stepping stone to our other classes or simply a comfortable class that suits you.
This is a roller coaster of a class as you get to cover each specific Latin dance in a specialized cardio style format to ensure you get both a great workout and a chance to dance all the fun, sexy and athletic dances that the style ‘latin’ covers. The actual dances covered in the class will depend on the teacher, but the genre includes, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble to name a few. This an energetic class that definitely gets the blood running and adrenaline pumping. It is compared to Zumba for its exertion levels and we strongly recommend this class to anyone who enjoys dancing to the latin beats or want that little bit extra workout added to their schedules.
